What we do
- development of child mental health support in partnership with local Muslim communities
- consultation with mainstream services to make them more accessible
- training for therapists and others working with children
Why we do it
- Muslim heritage children and teenagers face particular barriers to getting help
- fear of assumptions and prejudice from mainstream services
- impact of the pandemic: more children and young people seeking support
- demand for faith-sensitive therapy yet gap in provision for children
How we do it
We work with the public sector, charities and Muslim community organisations to develop services
